ITANAGAR, Aug 28: The Rozgar Mela was held across 45 locations in the country on Monday where Prime Minister Narendra Modi, distributed more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in various para military forces online.
In his virtual address, PM Modi said that several changes have been made in recruitment process for paramilitary forces to open new avenues for the youth.
He also said that the recruitment process in paramilitary forces has been streamlined to reduce the time of recruitment. Talking about the job opportunities for youngsters, he said that automobiles, pharma sectors are growing very fast and will create huge job opportunities in days to come.
Similarly, like rest of the country, Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Mela Abhiyan-8 was also organized at North East Frontier Headquarters, Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), Kating Hill, Itanagar on Monday, where Union Minister of Earth Sciences, Kiren Rijiju gave away appointment letters to 25 candidates out of 454 successful candidates in which 180 candidates were physically present and 274 candidates were present online.
