 Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak

ITANAGAR, Aug 24:To inculcate the ethos of nationalism among the masses, the Bhartiya Yuva Morcha on Thursday organized a bike rally as part of the week-long celebration of "Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak" to commemorate 75th anniversary of Quit India Movement here in the state capital. 

Led by Junior Home Minister, Kiren Rijiju, the bike rally started from Nikum Niya hall, Naharalgun and culminated at Naharlagun, wherein Rijiju cut the cake in presence of Deputy Chief Minister, Chowna Mein and MLAs, Alo Libang, Mama Natung , Tage Taki and general secretary, BJP Dominic Tadar along with members of Yuva Morcha.

Attending as the function as chief guest,  Kiren Rijiju  recalled PM Modi’s commitment to make the country  "New India"  and urged the masses to respond to the call seriously.

Mentioning that after BJP took over the reins, people’s expectation have also increased in terms of development and other aspects, Rijiju said that the country can only achieve progress in all fronts, when citizens support the developmental ideas of the government.

Our Prime Minister is trying to redevelop India by creating awareness in people about good practices like education, hygiene, health etc. And through this campaign “Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak”, Modi wants to  highlight the sacrifices made by freedom fighters  and  to  apply the same feeling of Nationalism to free the country from corruption , poverty etc, he asserted.

Calling corruption and poverty as a disease which would take some time to cure, Rijiju said no matter how long it will heal slowly, need is to fight against it.

Deputy Chowna Mein, in his speech pointed out that the country can only develop when farmers are happy and prosperous and stated that Prime Minister Modi is fully determined to fulfill all the needs of farmers of the country.

Endorsing full support to the PM’s vision, Mein said that there is urgent need to pass the message of Modi’s new campaign to PRIs and other grassroots functionaries to achieve cent percent success of campaign in rural areas of the state.

 Furthermore expressing concern over the slow progress of work of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) in the state, Mein asked the officials to come up with new ideas which will benefit farmers and assured to give full support.

Disclosing that the last budget was especially designed for development of Agri & Horti and other rallied sectors, Mein urged the KVK teams to ensure that the farmers are availing the full benefits of every scheme and policy framed by the state and central government.

General secretary, BJP, Domnic Tadar, MLAs,  Mohesh Chai, Tage Taki also spoke on the occasion and talked  on the objective and aims of  “Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak” campaign and called upon the masses to pledged to make the country a better place to live in.

Meanwhile attending as Chief Guest at a similar programme at Basar, West Siang district, Chief of BJP state unit, Tapir Gao appealed all HoDs and PRIs to work concertedly and shoulder the responsibility for development of the state.

Gao said that main motto of BJP government is to give transparent and corruption-free governance and pointed out that in the process citizens have to play a bigger role. 

He appealed officials and Panchayat leaders not to think that they are mere government servants, but instead realize that without their support the government alone cannot bring development.

To bring the country’s economic condition in the right track, our nation needs support from all stakeholders, he added. 

General Secretary, Jarpum Gamin, MLA Gojen Gadi and others were present on the occasion.
