RONO HILLS, Mar 16: The Department of Anthropology, Rajiv Gandhi University in collaboration with Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS), Bhopal is organising a two-day national seminar on the theme “Anthropology and Public Development Policy: Issues and Challenges” on March 17-18 next. Vice Chancellor, RGU Prof. Tamo Mibang, Minister for Education Honchun Ngandam and Dr S.B. Chakrabarty, General Secretary, The Asiatic Society, Kolkata are scheduled to attend. Prof. RK Mutatkar, Chairman, Scientific Advisory Group of Social Behavioural Research Division, ICMR will also deliver a lecture on “Anthropological Paradigm for Public Policy”. Hundreds of academicians, experts and researchers of the field are expected to attend the national seminar at RGU’s Rono Hills campus.
