DOIMUKH, Sep 2 : Members of Rajiv Gandhi University Teachers' Association today sported black badges expressing resentment towards the university authority over non-fulfillment of long pending demands.
Speaking to the media, President, RGUTA- Dr. Daniel Mize informed that the members of Rajiv Gandhi University Teachers' Association wore black badges as a part of its first phase of protest against non-fulfillment of the association's demands.
RGUTA has been demanding consideration of duties of faculty members who were stranded out of the campus during the COVID- 19 lockdown period following the DoPT Order, release of the withheld annual increment of faculty members of July 2022 for reasons known to the authority and acceptance of papers/articles published in Peer-reviewed Journals along with UGC old approved journals and New UGC CARE listed journals for the computation of academic scores both for new appointments and CAS promotions in the Link.
