Doimukh, Sep 11: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) and Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), Gaya, Bihar, for academic and collaborative researches in area of mutual interests. Both the organizations have agreed to come together and have decided to work jointly on set terms and conditions in identified areas of mutual interest, in accordance with the prevailing regulations and norms of either or both the Parties, as may be applicable.
The RGU Vice Chancellor Prof. Saket Kushwaha termed the inking of the MoU a welcoming step towards achieving academic heights on mutually benefitting parameters for both the parties. He said that the research projects under the MoU will instill positive vibes in the socio-economic and cultural development of both the states. He emphasized on the importance of undertaking extension, outreach, documentation and sensitization programmes on various cultural-related studies and was optimistic that this joint venture will yield the desired results. 
The Vice-Chancellor of CUSB Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, in his address while attending the program on virtual mode said that the basic purpose of this MoU is to yield optimum benefit while maintaining institutional accountability, and professional and social responsibility in right perspective keeping in view the huge scope of cultural exchange based research and training. He emphasized on exchanges and support on logistics mutually beneficial manner for both the parties, besides sharing of knowledge base.
RGU’s Registrar Dr. Nabam Tadar Rikam lauding the initiative of the joint endeavors by RGU and SBU reiterated that interdependency factor will benefit both the organizations and emphasized for maintaining a functionally active MoU. 
The MoU was signed by RGU’s Registrar Dr. Nabam Tadar Rikam and CUSB’s Registrar Col. Rajeev Kumar Singh (Retd.) in presence of Vice-Chancellors of both the universities, faculty members and other officers from the two organizations both physically and on virtual modes.
