RONO HILLS, Apr 16: RGU Vice Chancellor Professor Saket Kushwaha today released a lapel pin designed out of the insignia logo of the varsity to be worn on a blazer or shirt in a simple function held here at the VC Secretariat.
The lapel pin will be a symbolic representation of the achievements of the RGU and will instill a sense of belongingness among the varsity’s fraternity and draw the alumni closer to its alma mater, the VC said. The lapel pins will be open for sale from the office of the Dean, Faculty of Social Science and can be procured by the members and non-members alike as a souvenir, he added. Dean, Faculty of Social Science Professor Tana Showren said wearing of the lapel pin will instill a feeling of unity and bonhomie amongst the varsity’s fraternity.
