Doimukh, Aug 4: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), and Women & Child Development Department, GoAP, for furthering research exchange in the field of state’s women specific impact due to climate change in an academically mutually benefitting way.
RGU Vice Chancellor Prof. Saket Kushwaha termed it a welcome step and hoped that the MOU will be action oriented and result yielding as the area chosen for the research is purely for the good of Arunachal Pradesh.
The MOU was signed by the Registrar of Rajiv Gandhi University Dr. N.T. Rikam and the Secretary of Women & Child Development.
The representative of the state government Dorjee Khandu Thungon, CDPO (Hq.), W&CD Department said that the department looks forward to the vast knowledge base of RGU and expressed that the research works will be carried out within the framework of the provisions as agreed upon in the MoU.
