Rono Hills, Nov 11: Rajiv Gandhi University community today held a condolence meeting to mourn the death of Pura G. Tago, former Assistant Registrar (Examinations/Registration) of the then Arunachal University (State University).
Prof. S.K. Nayak, the Vice Chancellor (i/c), Dr. N.T. Rikam, the Registrar and other members paid tribute to him on the occasion. Tago will always be remembered as a down-to-earth and amiable personality who always mingled with the employees and people across the society, he said.
As a mark of respect and remembrance to late Tago, the University remained closed for the rest of the day.
