ITANAGAR, Jul 28:In a huge relief for District Rural Development Agency, (DRDA) staffers, the committee constituted by state government recently to assess their demands has finally agreed to absorb all DRDA borne employees to government departments including regular disbursement of their salaries and re-structuring and amalgamation of FRDA/RD/PR employees.

Meanwhile, the committee which was headed by Special Secretary, RD & PR, Nyali Ete has appreciated the genuine problem of the DRDA employees and discussed on various options and recorded them for tangible solutions.

However, the committee decided to hold another meeting on August 4 next to finalize its decision and appealed to agitating DRDA staffers to call off their ongoing pen down strike as government is working out to resolve their long pending demands as soon as possible.

Earlier the DRDA staffers has launched indefinite pen down strike against government to press for their long pending demands.
