ITANAGAR, Sep 1: The Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Itanagar is hosting the Rastriya Ekta Parv(REP) 2023-24 from September 1-2. A total of 82 participants from different KVs from Tinsukia Region will be participating in the two-day programme. The event featured various cultural activities, displaying of artefacts, instrumental music, painting and visual arts, showcasing the unity, richness and diverse art and cultural heritage. Arunachal Pradesh is paired with Uttar Pradesh under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Rashtriya Ekta Parv, 2023-24.
Special Secretary, Education, Ira Singhal who graced the occasion as chief guest, shared her experience working in a private firm and also instructed the students to do the things that truly makes them happy. Furthermore, she stated “whether those things become hobbies or your life’s work, pursuing your passion can give a renewed sense of accomplishment”. Ms Singhal also expressed her deep gratitude to the Principal Incharge, Arun Kumar Singh, for giving an opportunity to meet and greet the students, staff and well-wishers.
A significant aspect of the Rashtriya Ekta Parv (REP) 2023-2024 was the cooperation of multi – talented Judges from different realms of art. Like Rerik Karlo Digbak, Chorun Mugli, Meenam Goi, Pranbesh Shill and Ayan Pal. All the artist were deputed to judge, facilitate and to ensure the fairness and smooth conduct of the various activities. 
The prime notion of conducting the REP stands with unity of art and culture, combining the ideas of connectivity, integrity, communication and journey representing a cultural exchange and establishing rich legacy of cultural and tradition context.
