YUPIA, May 15: After assuming the charge of Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare,  Sachin Rana made series of visit to Hollongi area  accompanied by EE PWD B.Tugu and others today.
Upon receiving the report that Hollongi Welcome gate was tilting to one side because of heavy rainfall, the PWD team was sent to access the situation technically and then it was reviewed by the Executive Engineer PWD.
 The DC also visited the site and interacted with the ZPMs and citizens.
After reviewing the situation, he stated that the decision will be taken as per the report of PWD department and as of now the structure is safe. However, the staff of PWD and Revenue dept has been directed to keep vigil on the matter.
Further, the DC and his team visited the  Hollongi Greenfield Airport construction site and  detailed review meeting was taken with functionaries of Airport Authority of India including the general manager and his staff.  The  progress of the various constituent elements were also reviewed. The project part was then discussed in brief wherein the GM apprised the DC  about the pending land acquisition case near the shifted river.  DC assured that the same will be taken on priority by the DC office so that  airport is completed as per the schedule.
 In order to provide hospitable atmosphere to the people visiting Arunachal Pradesh through Hollongi  check post, the DC visited the ILP facilitation center and interacted with the applicants about the experience. The people in general were satisfied with the services but there were certain suggestions given by the DC to the implementing partners to make the experience more enriching and satisfactory. DC then directed the CO Hollongi for implementing the end to end solutions in the ILP issuance process so that citizens and visitors can be served better and their data can be stored safely and then data will also help in generating MIS reports for analysis and examination of the visitors.
