ITANAGAR, Sep 30: The Arunachal Bachao Andolan Committee (ABAC) in collaboration with All Capital Complex Youth Welfare Association (ACCYWA) organized a rally today demanding the immediate arrest of one Akhilesh Pratap Singh and  CBI enquiry on the corruption charges against CM Pema Khandu.
Following the failure to address the demand within 14 days, the association has threatened for democratic movements, which will also include bandh call.
Speaking to the reporters, ACCYWA President Ashok Yangfo said Khandu should immediately engage CBI or ED on corruption charges leveled by the Arunachal Agaisnt Corruption (AAC) on misappropriation of government funds and disproportionate assets acquired by the CM.
Yangfo claimed that entire government works at Tawang is being carried out by the CM's firm or his family. Depriving the youths of the state, the CM who represents the entire public should refrain from such individual activities and pave a way for others too.
“When he (CM) can recommend CBI enquiry into APPSC question paper leak fiasco, why is he reluctant for the same on the corruption allegations leveled on him. The CM should immediately call upon CBI and ED to investigate the allegations,” he added.
Meanwhile, ACCYWA General Secretary Lomjum Boje said that Akhilesh Pratap Singh, who is from Uttar Pradesh, has allegedly used derogatory remarks on Toko Sheetal. Singh has also disrupted the foot march by the team of AAC. Therefore, he should be immediately arrested responding to the FIR registered.

He also said that the state government should deliver justice to the AAC by accepting their demands. Despite days of protest in New Delhi by the team, and a foot march from Arunachal to New Delhi, the state government is yet to respond to their demands.
Convenor- ABAC Taol Paul who is  also the president, Pro Dam Movement of Arunachal Pradesh  informed that Arunachal Bachao Andolan Committee (ABAC), a voluntary organization extends support to the AAC led by its chairperson Toko Sheetal.  The committee is also demanding immediate arrest of Akhilesh Pratap Singh as well as CBI and ED inquiry against all the allegations against the CM.
