ITANAGAR, Jul 31:Raj Bhavan, Arunachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the Arunachal Voluntary Blood Donor Organization, a unit of Arunachal Vivekananda Yuva Shakti (AVYS) is organising a voluntary blood donation camp in the Darbar Hall, Raj Bhavan Itanagar on August 2 next. Along with the State’s First Lady, Kavita Acharya, the Governor will be joining the blood donation camp.

The Governor has appealed all able bodied persons to voluntary take part in such philanthropic service on periodic basis. Through such humane gestures, we can provide succour and save lives of needy patients in time, he said.

Chairman, AVBDO, Itanagar, Ramesh Jeke is coordinating the entire programme taking the assistance of State Blood Transmission Council, Directorate of Health Services and Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar.

It may be mentioned here that Arunachal Voluntary Blood Donor Organization has been organising voluntary blood donation camps for last nine years and has saved many lives.
