Itanagar, Mar 27: In the true spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, the Arunachal Pradesh Raj Bhavan celebrated Bihar and Mizoram Diwas with grandeur at the General Bipin Rawat Hall, Itanagar, on Thursday. Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.) along with a large number of people from Bihar and Mizoram serving in the State participated in the cultural presentation and interaction.
The Governor extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Bihar and Mizoram on their special day, emphasizing that such celebrations play a crucial role in fostering unity and strengthening inter-state cultural ties. He lauded the tradition of commemorating State Foundation Days, highlighting how these gatherings reinforce mutual respect and camaraderie among the people of diverse regions.
A key highlight of the event was the cultural performances, where Arunachali students showcased traditional art forms of Bihar. Expressing his appreciation, the Governor noted that such inter-state cultural exchanges enrich India's diversity and deepen the bonds of national integration.
Acknowledging the significant contributions of the people from Bihar and Mizoram to the progress of Arunachal Pradesh, the Governor conveyed his gratitude for their dedication and efforts in various developmental sectors.
The students of Gyan Mission, Jollong, Itanagar, attended the programme as the special guests of the Governor, making the event even more memorable.
The celebration featured vibrant traditional dance performances by students of Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Doimukh and North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology, NIrjuli, captivating the audience with their artistic expressions.
