Anini, May 28: Dasanglu Pul, Minister for Women & Child Development, and the Guardian Minister for Dibang Valley District, undertook a significant three-day official visit to Anini from May 27-29.
Upon her arrival at Circuit House, Anini on Tuesday, she was warmly received by the MLA the Zilla Parishad Chairperson (ZPC), Deputy Commissioner, Heads of Departments, Gaon Burahs (GBs), and a large contingent of public representatives and citizens.
As part of her agenda, the Minister conducted extensive site inspections of various ongoing development projects, including the Mini Secretariat, ICDS Office, upgradation of the District Medical Facility, construction of multi-storied government residential quarters for officers and staff, and the Panchayat building. She reviewed construction progress, interacted with officials on-site, and emphasized timely and quality implementation of all infrastructure works.
Today, Pul chaired a comprehensive district review meeting at the DC Conference Hall, Anini. During the session, the Deputy Commissioner and Heads of Departments presented detailed updates on the financial and physical status of key government schemes and developmental initiatives across the district. The discussions also covered critical bottlenecks and strategies to overcome them for faster execution.
A major highlight of the meeting was the official unveiling of the Dibang Valley Tourism Promotional Video, facilitated by the District Tourism Officer (DTO). The Minister, as Chief Guest, inaugurated the video which showcases the region’s unparalleled natural beauty, biodiversity, and rich cultural heritage. The initiative is a step toward promoting eco-tourism and sustainable livelihood opportunities for the local communities.
