BOMDILA, Jul 16: The West Kameng District Administration in collaboration with the Department of Labour and Employment Cum Model Career Centre launched "Project Paraamarsh", an initiative which aims to provide career guidance and counseling to two schools each month.
The noble initiative commenced with career guidance and counseling for the 10th-grade students of Shanti Deva Vidyalaya, Bomdila. During the session, the students were briefed on the functions of the National Career Service Portal. Kumari Monika, a young professional from the Directorate of Employment, Government of India, highlighted the benefits of registering on the NCS portal and the numerous online services available.
District Labour and Employment Officer, Khandu Thongdok, provided counseling to the students on how to approach different academic streams and outlined the necessary steps to pursue various careers in the future.
