ITANAGAR, Mar 28: A skill development programme on the theme “Post training intervention for initial financial assistance and business link-up” was organized today here by CSIR- North East Institute of Science & Technology Branch Itanagar. About 60 farmers, villagers and beneficiaries from different parts of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam attended the day long programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest, Chairman, State Council for Science & Technology, B Mangha, appreciated the activities of the institute on skill development for benefit of entrepreneurs and socio-economic development of the state with its latest technologies.

 He also spoke about the joint action program with collaboration of State Council of Science & Technology, AP NEIST and assured for possible help and cooperation from State Council of Science & Technology to the entrepreneurs.

 Guest of honour, ADM & CEO Talo Potom assured for full protection of the institute in maintaining peaceful atmosphere for scientific development so as to benefit the state. He also asked the authorities of NEIST to apprise its rural, micro and small scale technologies to the government and the Chief Secretary for its meaningful implementation for the overall development of society.

 The resource persons Dr. Budhen C Baruah, Dr. Sidhartha Saikia, Dr. Dipankar Neog, Dr. Jatin Kalita gave their presentations relevant to implementation of technologies for benefit of the farmers, entrepreneurs, villagers etc and business link-up.
