PASIGHAT, Nov 11: Two days district level ‘Training of Trainers’ on implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) Phase-II was conducted by PHE & WS Department, Pasighat Division on November 10 and 11. The training included one day field visit to Balek Village, where trainees were trained to conduct door-to-door survey to gather required information for preparation of village sanitation plan (VSP).
EE, PHED Pasighat, Er. Oling Taloh, in his inaugural speech said that the objective of the training was to educate the PRIs on economical technologies available for preparation of village sanitation plan for implementation of SBM(G) Phase-II activities such as open defecation free (ODF) sustainability, solid waste management (SWM), grey water management (GWM), plastic waste management (PWM) and proper implementation of Gobardhan Project.
Altogether 180 persons including all ZPMs, GPCs, Block Coordinators, Swachhagrahis, AEs, JEs and Consultants of East Siang took part in the training program which was imparted by Goto Ete (Itanagar) and Anon Wangsu (Roing) of PHE & WS department as resource persons.
