ITANAGAR, Jun 5:Minister for Power, Tamiyo Taga, chaired a meeting in his office today with the Commissioner (Power), CE (Power)of WEZ, EEZ and other senior officials to finalise the SADA for 2018-19. During the meeting, the minister directed the department to process the case for vetting from the planning department however he observed that the allocation given to one of the revenue earning departments especially in maintaining the power systems is not adequate enough and therefore directed the department to project the same with justification. During the interaction, the minister also directed the department to prepare themselves for execution of the works under ‘saubhagya’ for ensuring electrification of every household of the state in achieving the target of the Prime Minister in providing electricity to every household. He therefore requested the commissioner power to liaise with the Ministry of Power for getting early approval of the DPR uploaded by the department.
