PASIGHAT, Nov 8: The 2nd Police Technology Summit 2025 under the Police Technology Mission was held today at Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Pasighat Campus, Arunachal Pradesh. The prestigious event was organized under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and the AIC RRU Incubation Foundation.
The summit, themed “Initiative Towards Shaping the Technology in SMART Policing,” aimed to highlight the role of modern technology in enhancing efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness in policing systems across the nation.
The Chief Guests for the inaugural ceremony were Tapi Darang, MLA 38th Pasighat East, and Tapir Gao, Lok Sabha Member of Parliament, who graced the occasion with their presence and inspiring addresses. Both dignitaries emphasized the growing need for integrating advanced technology and innovation in the field of law enforcement to ensure better service delivery, security, and public trust.
Speaking at the event, MLA Tapi Darang lauded the efforts of Rashtriya Raksha University in fostering research and innovation in national security and police modernization. While MP Tapir Gao highlighted about the importance of such initiatives in strengthening India’s internal security framework and encouraged young innovators to contribute towards the Police Technology Mission.
The event brought together academicians, police officers, technology experts, and students, providing a common platform to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and discuss the future of smart policing in India.
The Police Technology Summit 2025 marks another milestone for RRU Pasighat Campus as it continues to play a vital role in promoting advanced learning, innovation, and collaborative research in national security and public safety
