NAHARLAGUN, Apr 10: The aggrieved aspirants of Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) under "Mission ADO", claimed that the Naharlagun police has confirmed that the Namsai ADO Tiprami Manglong used two Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificates, one from Arunachal Pradesh and the other from Assam. 
Speaking to the reporters on Monday, Sanjay Yangda, a member of Mission ADO said that the aspirants today met with the investigating officer (IO) of the case at Naharlagun Police station, wherein they were informed that the officer in question does possess dual ST certificate. Accordingly, the IO is filing the report, which will be forwarded to the higher authority for further registration of the case.  
He said that aspirants are so far satisfied with the investigation process. The police have received the related documents from Arunachal and have approached the Lakhimpur district, Assam for the other documents.
“We are hopeful that the state police will bring out the truth for the security and welfare of the aspirants of the state. Moreover, I request the capital SP to look into the shreds of evidence and accordingly register the case under the appropriate IPC section,” he said. 
Meanwhile, Naharlagun SDPO Dekio Gumja said that the investigation process into the forgery case related to the possession of dual ST and PRC, filed against Namsai ADO Tiprami Manglong by the aggrieved aspirants is in process.
He said that the police have received a complaint from the aggrieved aspirants claiming that Tiprami Manglong possesses dual ST and PRC of Assam as well as Arunachal Pradesh. Accordingly, the police have sought documents from Assam and Namsai district administration.
The police official said that once the documents  sought by the police from the respective offices arrive, the case will be concluded. He however refuted claims by the aspirants that police is neglecting the complaint terming it "absolutely false".
“Every case related to forgery is verified at the initial stage so that no innocent is being victimized. It takes time during the preliminary verification process. Therefore, the aspirants should not feel that the police is delaying the case intentionally,” he said.
Earlier, the aggrieved aspirants under the banner of Mission Agriculture Development Office (MADO) lodged FIR against the ADO for forgery and demanded immediate termination from service and inquiry by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
Armed with RTI documents, aspirants alleged that, Tiprami Manglong who is originally from Narayanpur, North Lakhimpur District, Assam has obtained an ST certificate from Namsai and applied for the ADO examination 2021-22, conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), and also cleared the examination. Following this, the aspirants lodged an FIR at Naharlagun Police Station on April 1, last.
