KANUBARI, May 25:One must feel the pain and suffering of the poor and downtrodden and serve them with all humanity, said MLA Gabriel D. Wangsu, and called upon all to perform beyond the normal call of duty.

Addressing the people and staff at Community Health Centre, Kanubari on Monday last while flagging off a new ambulance, Wangsu urged upon each and every government official to perform their duties with all sincerity and honesty citing ‘that would make a huge difference in society.’

Wangsu, who is also Chairman of State Council for IT and e-Governance, expressed his deep gratitude to Airport Authority of India Chairman Guruprasad Mohapatra, Personal Secretary to Union Minister for Civil aviation Ankur Garg and DC Longding Himanshu Gupta, for their sincere efforts towards the cause of humanity in a remote location which is bereft of even basic health facility. 

In-charge ADC Kanubari, N Borang in his address, also underscored the need to properly use the ambulance while thanking all concerned for making available ambulance service for the people of Kanubari sub division.

Large gathering of people including HoDs, officers and PR leaders witnessed the flag off program. Fitted with advance life supporting system, the Traveller ambulance for Kanubari CHC was donated by AAI under CSR initiative.
