PASIGHAT, Jun 25: As part of the 8th Anniversary Celebration of Smart Cities Mission under the Ministry of Housing &Urban Affairs, the Pasighat Smart Development Corporation Ltd. (PSCDCL)  conducted  an 8km Walkathon and 18km Cyclothon  today with active participation of the denizens of Smart City Pasighat.  Cyclothon participants cycled through and covered eight major smart city projects taken up by the corporation.
DC East Siang cum Chairman PSCDCL,Tayi Taggu , PMC Chief Okiam Moyong Borang & CEO Smart City, Dr. Manjuli Komut flagged off today’s event from PSCDCL campus here in the morning.
Staffers, general public, government officials, members from various NGOs and CBOs, youth, students and Pasighat Cycling Club members participated in today’s event and helped in promoting the message to adopt healthy and sustainable lifestyle through walking and cycling  and to explore and learn the many aspects of the city and strive for a pollution-free city through such activities DIPRO
