PASIGHAT, Feb 16: A massive candlelight march was held in Pasighat this evening mourning the 40 soldiers who were killed in the Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
The march which saw huge participation was led by the local legislator, Kaling Moyong, former Education Minister and current State Congress Vice President, Bosiram Siram along with other senior members across party lines.
While speaking on the sidelines, MLA Moyong said that, people of Pasighat in particular and Arunachal Pradesh condemns the terror attack and expressed hope that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government will give a befitting reply to cross border terrorism. “May Almighty give enough strength to the families of those martyred soldiers. Their sacrifices will be always remembered,” he added.
“People of Pasighat and Congress party of Arunachal are in deep shock over the dastardly attack upon the soldiers and a strong measure to tackle the terror modules in the valley is need of the hour,” added Bosiram Siram while praying for the bereaved families.
While showing solidarity with the martyr’s families, state’s oldest and premier college, JN College,  



Pasighat Students’ Union General Secretary, Kiling Mibang who participated in the candlelight rally with more than 400 fellow students said that, the sacrifice of our soldiers shouldn’t go in vein and each and every module of terrorist in the Kashmir valley should be cracked down immediately.
