ZIRO, Dec 12: Papum Pare lifted the XIX Tadar Tang State Level Football Tournament 2022, defeating Capital Complex in a nail biting match played at the Padi Yubbe Outdoor Stadium today. With this Papum Pare has lifted this trophy for the fourth time.
After 90 minutes full time play, Papum Pare District defeated Capital Complex by a margin of 2:1 goals. The scorer of the final match was Taba Heli 11’ & 29’ for Papum Pare and Nunumi Mihu 54’ for Capital Complex.
The award for Fair Play went to Capital Complex, Best Player went to Tsering Sherpa of Papum Pare District, Highest Scorer was Taba Heli – of Papum Pare District while the  Best Goalkeeper     went to Jagom Loyi  of West Siang.
The XIX Tadar Tang State Level Football Tournament 2022 (Final Round) organized by the Arunachal Pradesh Football Association and hosted by the Lower Subansiri District Football Association at Ziro kicked off on December 4 last and was participated by 14 district teams namely Papum Pare, Capital Complex, East Kameng, East Siang, West Siang, Shi Yomi, Changlang, Namsai, Siang, Lower Subansiri, Tawang, Kra Daadi, Kurung Kumey and Upper Subansiri.
After week long footballing fight between all the district teams, the final two teams to qualify for the grand finale was Papum Pare and Capital Complex. The Closing ceremony and the final match which was held today at Padi Yubbe Outdoor Stadium was witnessed by Alo Libang, Minister, Health & Family Welfare and Er. Tage Taki, Minister, Agri, Horti & Allied, and host of other dignitaries.
