BOMDILA, Nov 11: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Central Institute of Himalayan Culture Studies (CIHCS) and the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)for integration, recognition of the Bhoti language and Bhot Boudh Darshan as per National Education Policy 2020 on Friday at Dahung, West Kameng.
With the signing of the pact, CIHCS shall introduce the NIOS course curriculum in the university. The MoU shall also pave the way for integration and recognition of the Bhoti language and Bhot Boudh Darshan at all three levels as per the National Education Policy 2020 from the Academic Year 2023-24 for the benefit of the Buddhist Community.
The MoU is signed between Dr. Gurmet Dorjee, Director, CIHCS and Pradeep Kumar Mohanty, Secretary, NIOS in the presence of Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Director, NIOS, Rajesh Gautom, Regional Director. Regional Office NE, NIOS along with the staff and students of CIHCS.
