Changlang, Aug 6: In a successful joint operation, Assam Rifles collaborated with District Police Changlang to apprehend an Over Ground Worker (OGW) affiliated with the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Isak-Muivah) [NSCN (IM)]. The operation took place at B N Colony, in Changlang on Saturday.
During the operation, security forces managed to arrest the OGW and also recovered a mobile phone from the suspect's possession. The evidence and the apprehended individual were promptly handed over to the local Police Station in Changlang to facilitate further investigation and subsequent legal actions.
The collaborative effort between Assam Rifles and District Police Changlang signifies the ongoing efforts to combat insurgency and maintain peace and security in the region. The operation serves as a significant step in the ongoing fight against anti-national activities and aims to ensure the safety and well-being of the community in Arunachal Pradesh.
