TEZU, Jul 31: Three Lohit Youth Library Network volunteers namely Ashapmai Dellang and Abimsi Manyu from Medo and Behelti Ama from Pukhuri village of Wakro Circle who were students of BASS School under Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai have passed the CBSE class XII examinations with outstanding marks.
Specialising in Carnatic music, Ashapmai Dellang has scored 90% in the subject and 91% in Hindi. While Behelti Ama has scored 95% each in Painting, her special subject and Hindi, Abimsi Manyu has scored over 80% in all subjects with 93% in Hindi, the highest. The three students were studying at Kalakshetra Foundation under a Central government scholarship for classes XI & XII and all of them are alumni of KGBV, Wakro.
It is worth mentioning that after 2 decades, a student from Lohit has taken Carnatic music as a major subject for class XII.  During prolonged Corona restrictions last year, Bamboosa Library Tezu provided them free reading room services, enabling them to attend their online classes smoothly.
