PASIGHAT, Nov 5: Three day orientation programme on the People’s Plan Campaign (PPC)-2022 for preparation of the Panchayat Development Plan for the 2023-24 financial year concluded today on a positive note.
Chairing the inaugural programme on November 3, Alen Taning, ZPM Bosing-II urged the GPCs to utilize the funds granted by the state and central governments judiciously and without any bias. He further appealed to all the stakeholders to conduct proper Gram Sabha and to maintain utmost transparency in preparation of GPDP and DPDP. He also appealed all the line departments to actively participate during People’s Plan Campaign as per scheduled dates.
DPDO Tajing Padung described the PPC as an important tool for overall development of a village and the district, and advised all stakeholders to prepare a holistic plan for the financial year 2023-2024. Among others, ADC (HQ) Tatdo Borang and course director S.W Bagang (SIDR faculty) delivered lectures during the three days program.
