NAMSAI, Sep 11: North East Human Right Organization (NEHRO)-Arunachal Unit has condemned the molestation of a 16 year old girl by one government employee, Pradeep Kumar Deb at Namsai.

In its pres statement, NEHRO-AP Unit has claimed that the victim was missing since September 4 last when she left home for tuition and was later found the next day in the residence of alleged accused Deb in an unconscious condition.

While condemning the act, President NEHRO, Vijoy Mize has demanded exemplary punishment against the culprit.

 On September 5 last, the victim was admitted to a health centre in Namsai and accordingly doctors have referred her to a bigger facility.

After examination of the girl by a Medical officer of PHC Namsai, they confirmed about some unknown substances in her body, and marks on her neck, restlessness etc.  Police has registered a case US 342/345(1)(i) 328 of IPC and POCSO Act against the accused.
