ITANAGAR, Jun 15:  Reiterating its demand, Arunachal   Indigenous Students Union (AISU) and Nyishi Youth Welfare Association (NYWA) has threatened to resort to democratic movement if their demands are not fulfilled.  
They are demanding revocation of District Based Entrepreneurs and Professionals (Incentives, Developments and Promotional) Act. Revocation Arunachal Pradesh Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 2014, Cancellation of ST issued to Tibetan refugees, Renaming of IG Park and inclusion of Arunachal history in textbooks.
Speaking to media, President NYWA Tai Talley informed that despite the submission of 15 days memorandum to the state government on May last, authority is not giving any heed to their demands. Citing Article -19, Talley said District Based Entrepreneurs and Professionals (Incentives, Developments and Promotional) Act and Arunachal Pradesh Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 2014 totally curtails one's freedom. Every citizen of the state has the right to work, stay and visit anywhere in the state but the DBEP Act is curtailing the right. Moreover, APUA Act is being used as a weapon to suppress any democratic movement against the authority, claimed  President  NYWA.
 Further, he also informed that he has lodged a case in Guwahati High Court, Itanagar on mismanagement of COVID fund by the state government.
 President, AISU Techi Talik informed that despite assurance, state government failed to rename the IG park as Abo Tani Park, cancellation of ST certificate of three alleged Tibetan refugees and  inclusion of history of Arunachal in textbooks.
