ITANAGAR, May 9: The Anti Corruption Foundation of Itanagar unit, urged for swift action against the unlawful operations of 37 unregistered private schools within the Itanagar Capital Region.
Speaking to the reporters at the press club on Thursday, President ACF-Itanagar Unit Ha Tago stated that at least 37 schools in the capital region have been found to be operating without the requisite government registration, in clear violation of established laws and regulations governing educational institutions.
While claiming this violation as not only a blatant disregard for governmental guidelines he said it is also a potential act of corruption and serious criminal offenses. Such unauthorized establishments not only undermine the integrity of the education system but also pose risks to the well-being and safety of students, added Tago.
He also informed that the organization has submitted a letter to the relevant authorities, the Foundation has provided comprehensive evidence of the illegitimate operations of these schools, including a detailed list of the unregistered private institutions. It is evident that these establishments lack the necessary authorization and documentation required to function as educational institutions, stated Tago.
Further, the Anti-Corruption Foundation of the ICR unit calls upon the authorities to intervene immediately in this matter and issue closure orders against the schools and their authorities without delay. Failure to act promptly on this matter, the ACF has threatened to seek legal recourse through appropriate channels.
