ITANAGAR, Nov 24: Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) in a meeting today with the Chairman, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Nipo Nabam and its Secretary A.R. Talwade here at the Raj Bhavan discussed the ways and means in devising a fool-proof system for making the upcoming APPSCCE (Mains)-2020 and viva voce flawless.
Reminding the APPSC Chairman and Secretary that the onus of making the examination glitch-free rests on the Commission, the Governor asked them to ensure that question papers are strictly within the given syllabi  and as per applicable rules. “The Commission has to reinforce people’s faith in the APPSC through transparency and objectivity and should rise to the expectations of the youths of the state and leave no loopholes in the written and viva voce parts and complete the examination as per schedule,” the Governor said. He also appreciated the District Administrations and the State Police for their role in smooth conduct of the preliminary examination amid the pandemic situation.
It is worth mentioning that the Governor had chaired several meetings with the Chief Minister and APPSC members to ensure that the Commission’s examinations are conducted with transparency and completed within timeframes.
The APPSC Chairman assured the Governor of hassle-free and timely conduct of APPSCCE Mains and viva voce. PRO Raj Bhavan
