PASIGHAT, Feb 27: In an effort to augment the process of online activities, the Pasighat Smart City Mission setup office at Giidi Notko here on February 25-26 last to encourage public participation under the Smart City citizen consultation through online registrations followed by public poll on area based development and pan city components, comments and suggestions for improvements of the city, which would ultimately be included in the Smart City Draft Proposal for Pasighat.
The office also had catered offline version of the same under which forms, questionnaires were distributed among the huge gathering and their suggestions, and opinions were collected by placing suggestion boxes at the venue. The Smart City office received overwhelming response from the citizens.
The two day camp witnessed participations of the Lok Sabha MP Ninong Ering, MLAs Kaling Moyong and Lombo Tayeng, Deputy Commissioner Tamiyo Tatak, Chief Councillor Kaling Doruk, Deputy Chief Councillor Kaling Darang, municipal councillors, members of the Adi Baane Kebang, members of the Mishing Baane Kebang, NGOs and student organisations.
