ITANAGAR, Sep 4:The Confederation of Service Association of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) has condemned the attack on EAC, DC office, Tame Yajum at her office chamber today.

The EAC was reportedly assaulted by one Kamta Tawe, a Junior Engineer in Power Department and his wife Rani Jamoh Tawe and the official’s office was also vandalized today around 9.30 am along with a group in connection with the ongoing eviction along NH 415 for effecting  4-lane highway.

Condemning the incident in the strongest term, the CoSAAP has urged the capital administration to immediately arrest the culprits and punish them appropriately.

The ongoing eviction is being carried out after clear notification giving ample time to the affected parties by the capital administration and residents should cooperate with the officials willingly in eviction drives for better road condition of the capital city, the association said in a release.

Furthermore, it has asked the state government to immediately notify the retirement age at 60 as has been announced and to restore medical reimbursement facility as has been decided in the meeting of June 30 last.
