Bomdila, Apr 13: General Observer Sajjan R, and Expenditure Observer, Tarun Khushwaha, held a meeting with the election agents from various political parties at Bomdila today.
Key points discussed during the meeting addressed the installation of CCTV cameras in vulnerable polling stations, vehicle inspections by FST & SST teams, and checking of driving licenses to prevent misuse of vehicles. Other concerns raised encompassed voter registration issues, including names missing from the electoral roll, deceased or relocated voters still listed, and instances of multiple EPIC cards. Additionally, vigilance around contesting candidates' residences near polling stations was emphasized to deter mass gatherings.
