ITANAGAR, Sep 5: The second phase of the "Meri Maati Mera Desh-Mitti Ko Naman Veeron Ka Vandan" initiative saw spirited involvement from NYK Itanagar's youth clubs, volunteers, and the public in a widespread door-to-door campaign in P-Sector and Bank Tinali zones of Itanagar. This event highlighted unity, celebrated national accomplishments through community participation, and paid homage to the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. The event included collection of 'Mitti' and rice from homes, intended for transport to state, and national levels.
On September 1 last, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the second phase of the Meri Maati Mera Desh program, with an Amrit Kalash Yatra scheduled from September 1 to 30 across all villages in the country.
