ITANAGAR, Jan 28: Upholding the motto of “Ideas for a Better tomorrow: India for the World” and being selected as a nodal kendra to host the District Youth Parliament 2023, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Itanagar organized District Youth Parliament on Saturday in virtual mode.
Participants from all districts of the state participated in the event with great anticipation and shared their views with great confidence on three suggestive topics provided to them.
District Youth Parliament is a part of the National Youth Parliament Festival 2023 to be held in New Delhi on February 23 and 24 next.
During the event, 32 winners from 18 districts were screened to go to the state level. A total of three winners from the state level would be invited to take part in the National Youth Parliament in New Delhi in physical mode.
First, second and third winners at the national level would get prize money of Rs. 2 lakhs, Rs. 1.5 lakhs and 1 lakh respectively.
The competent jury consisted of Gomar Basar, Asst. Registrar, RGU, Koj Tara, Asst. Director, APSACS, Mina Toko, Vice-President, APCC, Laya Lombi, MIS Expert.
Thirty-two winners from the District Youth Parliament would now compete at the state level event.
