ITANAGAR, Nov 18: A group of aggrieved aspirants of Sub-Inspector (Civil/IRBN) 2017 on Friday lodged an FIR in SIC demanding investigation into the SI examination conducted  by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) under the Controller of Examination Taket Jerang, who is the main accused in the AE(Civil) examination paper leak case.
Addressing media persons at APC, Gekar Riba who is one of the aspirants stated  that the SI examination was conducted under  the then Deputy Secretary of APPSC  Taket Jerang as  Controller of Examination, therefore it should be investigated by the SIC.
Claiming there was an anomaly in the recruitment process, he further informed that the question papers which were given to them were out of syllabus.
“The elementary mathematics paper which was earlier announced to be subjective  was suddenly changed into an objective in the last hour of the examination,” alleged Riba. It is also clear from the recent instance of APPSC fiasco that if a mains paper of civil service which is of grade ‘A’ can be leaked then they can leak the group ‘D’ question paper too, he added.
The aspirants further claimed that they have no faith in the Commission's examinations conducted under accused Taket Jerang whose involvement in "cash for jobs" has been already proved.
In the meantime, aspirants have also lodged an FIR at SIC to initiate investigation against accused Taket Jerang, Chairman APPSC Nipo Nabam, secretary Jayanta Kumar Ray and other incumbent officers of the Commission in view of the SI examination conducted.
