KHONSA, Feb 8: Nocte Digest has launched its digital library which was inaugurated here at the NBF Hall on Saturday last by District Library and Information Officer (DLIO) Tirap, Chaphun Sumnyan.
Making the inauguration, the DLIO appreciated Wangtum Humchha Lowang, the founder of Nocte Digest for going digital that will help students in widening their knowledge base about their culture and traditions. Highlighting the importance of digital libraries in today’s IT context, she urged the students to visit the district library from time to time and develop reading habits to improve general knowledge. Later, the DLIO distributed certificates to the students for participating in the occasion. The site noctedigest.com/library will give free access to more than 10 books, 15 reference articles and 30 historical documents, all on the history and culture of the Nocte tribe. DIPRO
