ITANAGAR, Mar 28: Ace karateka of the state, who is now serving as Arunachal Pradesh Police Sub Inspector P Nobin Jomoh has been selected to represent the Indian Karate team in the forthcoming Karate Premier League - Karate 1- Championship (KPL) to be held in  DubaiUnited Arab Emirates from March 31 to April 2 next.

Nobin who was set to leave for Dubai from New Delhi this evening informed that the Karate Association of India has also selected him to attend the World Karate Federation’s (WKF) coach accreditation course due to be at Dubai around the same time.

Nobin has thanked Arunachal Karate-Do Association president Likha Tara general secretary Sensei Bulang Marik, coach Guru Shihan Deven and Sports Control Board, Chimpu secretary Tojo Karga for their support and also extended his gratitude to parliamentary secretary for tax and excise Tapuk Taku for sponsoring his trip to the event.
