ITANAGAR, Aug 6: JCI Itanagar Royals, the Arunachal Chapter of Junior Chamber International (JCI), a non-profit NGO active in more than 100 countries today felicitated ICC Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom for his exemplary work in the fight against Covid pandemic and donated Covid-19 kits to the District Administration.
The Covid-19 kits containing oximeters, thermometers, multi-vitamin and zinc tablets, batteries etc. were donated as a token of appreciation for the District Administration in battling the pandemic. The items were handed over by Yayam Bagang, the owner of the SKYCT K-brand franchise in collaboration with JCI Itanagar Royals. High quality 5-layered KN-95 masks were also donated by JCI member Nabam Vivienne. While informing the DC about their contribution to society such as building classrooms for underprivileged children, installation of water purifiers etc., the JCI members assured to extend help to the ICC DA as an NGO. The DC thanked the JCI members for their noble gesture and handed over the kits to the officers and staff of the DC office and visitors. Later, he also handed over 'I am COVID-19 vaccinated' badges conceptualised by the DA to the officers and staff with an aim to encourage Covid vaccination. DIPRO
