MALIGAON, Aug 12:
The Northeast Frontier Railway has changed the timings of few of its trains and was optimistic that travellers will benefit from the revised schedule.
In a press communiqué the NFR informed that the originating and departure timings of the 15613 / 15614 Kamakhya – Murkongselek – Kamakhya Lachit Express train will be changed from August 18 next onwards. Accordingly, the train will leave Kamakhya station at 20-30hrs to arrive at Murkongselek at 08-00 hrs next day. During return journey it will leave Murkongselek at 19-00 hrs to arrive at Kamakhya at 07-05 hrs next day. Arrival and departure timings of the train at all en route stations will change accordingly.
Also, the departure timings of the 15927 Rangiya-New Tinsukia Express which runs four days a week( Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday) and 15967 Rangiya-Dibrugarh Express which runs thrice a week ( Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday) will be changed from August 19 next. Both the trains will now leave Rangiya at 05-30 hrs instead of 05-45. The train will leave Kamakhya at 06-35 hrs. There will be no change of timings for onward journey from Guwahati.
