ITANAGAR, Apr 18: Dr. Gopa Kumaran Nair, has today taken charge as the new General Manager of NABARD, Arunachal Pradesh Regional Office.
Succeeding Dr. Gyanendra Mani, the outgoing GM, Nair has worked in NABARD Regional Offices of Tamil Nadu and Kerala as well as at Mumbai Head Office in various capacities. A PhD in Economics from the University of Kerala, Nair has an experience of more than two decades in agriculture and rural development related activities and has prepared and presented various research papers in prestigious economic journals in India.
The outgoing GM, Dr. Gyanendra Mani will be joining the bank’s Head Office in Mumbai after his two years tenure in Itanagar, during which many path breaking initiatives in the fields of agriculture and rural development were taken. He was also awarded with gold medal by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh on its 33rd Statehood Day for his meritorious service to the state. NABARD Press Release
