RONO HILLS, Sep 21:The new executive body of Rajiv Gandhi University Teachers' Association for the session 2017-18 formally took charge in a huge gathering of the teacher members of the RGU community. The new team comprises of Prof. Jumyir Basar as President, Bikash Bage as Secretary and Dr. Tage Rupa Sora as the Vice President. Dr. Maila Lama took over the charge of Joint Secretary while Dr. Atege Linggi shall discharge his duties as the treasurer of the RGUTA body.

The new team took over from the outgoing President Prof.  Nani Bath and Secretary Prof. NN Hina. Rajiv Gandhi University Teachers' Association (RGUTA) was constituted in 1990 (then Arunachal University) to promote academic interest of the University in general and to promote the welfare of the members of the association in particular.
