ITANAGAR, Sep 23: Northeast Human Rights Organization (NEHRO) has filed a complaint with the National Commission for Schedule Tribes (NCST) against one Akhilesh Pratap Singh of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh for intimidating and using racial remarks against Toko Sheetal, an Arunachal woman who is currently leading a footmarch to the national capital.
NEHRO in its complaint letter said that, a group of people from Arunachal Pradesh led by  Toko Sheetal  is  marching on foot to New Delhi on a democratic movement against the Government of Arunachal Pradesh on alleged misappropriation of government funds in the state.
On September 19, Toko Sheetal and her team met Akhilesh Pratap Singh, at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh who started to insult and intimidate them using racial remarks without any reason. 
Singh even tried inciting disparity for using the Indian national flag by Toko Sheetal and her team as if the Tri Colour is not for the people of Arunachal Pradesh. Later Akhilesh Pratap Singh started to abuse  Toko Sheetal by alleging her of running a sex racket in Arunachal Pradesh. He did not stop here and went on to the extent of social media and started to defame/insult her without any reason, NEHRO said in its letter.
In this regards, Hon'ble Commission is requested to take appropriate action against Akhilesh Pratap Singh under The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 for the end of justice, stated NEHRO.
 Meanwhile, various organizations and groups like All Arunachal Pradesh Kranti Dal,Nupang Erang Kebang (NEK),East Siang District Law Students’ Association and other groups have lodged FIR in various police stations.
