ITANAGAR,  Oct 18: The National People’s Party (NPP), a party that is raised from the NE region, by the people for the regional aspirations of the region,  is the only option for the people of the Northeast to raise their voice in national politics, said NPP National General Secretary, James Sangma while speaking to reporters here on  Monday.
He further stated that there is a need to have a common voice and all have to come together to set regional aspirations. "By the time voice of Northeast reaches Delhi, it just becomes inconsequential, that’s why the need of the hour is to come together. All though we may have differences but we have to come together and that is the only way that the voice of Northeast will be heard," Sangma added.
National Spokesperson, NPP Abhay Kayshab said that the party will give equal support to every state.  "Our motive is to be the one voice for the people. In the Northeast, we have small states and small members in comparison to other states of the country but if we become one voice, we can confer strong presentation of our challenges and aspirations in Delhi."
While briefing about the scheduled NPP conclave on October 19, State President NPP, Mutchu Mithi said, "We are not against any political party but we are raising issues which are confronting the states and which are very much important for Arunachal and other northeastern states."
