Shillong, Nov 14: Creating history, the Arunachal Pradesh U-17 Women's Football Team reached the final of 2nd NorthEast Olympic Games by registering a thumping 5-1  win against Sikkim in the semi final match played today at Shillong, Meghalaya.
Kai Rumi and Angel Tayang scored two each while Giani Ramching Mara also scored a goal.
Kai Rumi was declared Player of the Match for her brilliant performance through out the match.
Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA) extended its hearty congratulations to Head Coach Kipa Bharat, Management Team and players and wished them the best for the final match to be played against Manipur on  November 16 next.
