ITANAGAR, Sep 22: National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has issued a second notice to the Deputy Commissioner, Lower Dibang Valley District to submit a report on  Action Taken Report  within 15 days  regarding a complaint filed by North East Human Rights Organization (NEHRO) .
 NCPCR, in its notice stated that as per the complaint from NEHRO, the Anganwadi Centre in the Anpum area of Lower Dibang valley District lacks basic infrastructure and nutrition facilities. Several cases of malnourishment among children have been found. No facilities are being provided to lactating and pregnant women. The Primary Health Care Centre has no adequate staff, proper infrastructure and medical equipment as well as the only PHC in the area is running under a temporary bamboo made hut.
 As per the commission notice, the NCPCR has already served first notice  on May last seeking the response of the  DC within 30 days but no response was made till date.
