Nere, Feb 27: Home Minister Mama Natung, carried out a comprehensive inspection of ongoing development projects and public infrastructure at Nere village under Debeyar Circle in East Kameng district on Friday.
The inspection was conducted in the presence of ZPM Papu Valley, Demo Cheri, Chairman EKSWCO Raya Flago, among others.
During the visit, the Minister inspected several important infrastructure projects under various stages of construction. These included the Debeyar Circle Office, Panchayat Bhawan-cum-Common Service Centre, proposed PHE Sub-Division Office site, CO Quarter, WRD Sub-Division Office, Forest Guest House, RWD Guest House, Medical Officer Type-IV Quarter, and a Multipurpose Hall at Nere. He reviewed the progress of the works and emphasized the importance of maintaining quality standards and ensuring timely completion.
Natung also visited Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Avasiya Vidyalaya, Nere, where he inspected the under-construction Government Middle School building. He interacted with the school authorities, listened to their concerns, and assured them that the issues raised would be addressed on priority.
While interacting with officials and stakeholders, the Minister shared necessary suggestions at various project sites and reiterated that development initiatives must remain focused on delivering tangible and meaningful benefits to the people.
The visit reflects the Government’s continued commitment to strengthening infrastructure and improving public service delivery in rural and remote areas of the district.
